Great, great podcast as per usual.
Thank you for reminding everybody to write to our local stations and Disney-ABC to ask for Season 3. Just yesterday, I received a letter from my local station advising to write to Disney-ABC, since the ball is in their court at this point. And now down to “Desecrated”. I have to say that for a one-off episode, it was one heck of a strong one off! Fast paced, the theme about the value of one life vs. another was compelling and I also enjoyed seeing how all the Team Seeker members were true to the characters in the books, in addition to the multiple reference to past episodes (Brennidon, journey books, D’Haran war, etc.). I personally love big arcs like Light/Dark/Perdition, but with 22 episodes, one offs are expected. I dare guessing that this is the last one off.
Kurt, my take on the many journey books: I guess Cormac was able to collect them during the D’Haran war. *shrug*.
I can’t wait to watch the next 6 episodes, and really, really, really hope we’ll see our War Wizard this season.
Jenn, I just have to say one thing…. Brew-HAHA!
Also, lets remember this is a TV show, not a mini-series. Without one-shot episodes, it wouldn’t really be possible to port any book or series or books to television.
Great show, guys. Really liked the episode and enjoyed the part with Kahlan’s skirt – haha. Good one but yeah it’s a family show – sorry. The episode was good but for me the best part was with Kahlan/Cara. We all know how much Cara appreciates Kahlan and it was good to hear it from her even it lasted only 5 minutes – haha. Cara’s just…Cara. Anyway i really enjoyed your podcast and looking forward to next time. Episode 17 was excellent so I can’t wait to hear what you have to say. And I agree – absolute sure we’re gonna have season 3

Hi Enjoyed the Podcast as always. Thanks for the email Jenn re Bookie Discussions. I’m looking forward to tackling those books. Desecrated Episode – super. Found a few comments on line re mummy and “spidey-type” mummy wrap. I’m chuckling all the way. I enjoyed the mummy and spidey or chalmeons sticky tongue — luv’d the concept. Magic of the wrappings versus the person being the magic so Richard was able to kill the trapped man…luv’d the receipe required of Cara to save Zedd from Richard — the man is articulate though. Adored like Jenn … Nathan Rimell … I think the part was Lt. Rankin … I have been trying to figure it out too. Sorry I didn’t like the fight between Cara and Kahlan. Both women are far smarter…just didn’t work for me. But did like the tenderness of R to K when he rescues her. Ya gotta know the adrenlin was rushing as the timelimit arrived! I’m assuming Craig got to do his own stunts and got tossed around by “Zedd” the mummy pretty good. On issue of value of life — the conjurer was still in mourning and grief.. didn’t really justify his revenge but the loss of his sons and the loss of Erich’s father was sad…. Anyway, Enjoyed the episode, enjoyed the entertainment. Actually after seeing it again, I don’t think Richard did that bad at dancing with the sword…Hazzah!! Hoping for Season 3. Let me echo the SOTFan comment re renewal..my station supports and said ball in court of produces and ABC/Disney. I write every week thank you’s to all new sponors and/or products of each episode…quality of sponsors I have noticed in my area has improved…lots more major companies with quality products. Don’t know for sure but hope all of our letters and contacts are making a positive difference. Thanks for chance to share… deras

It trully was another great Ep! I loved the further development of the Cara and Kahlan relationship but, also how Kahlan didnt doubt that Richard would save them. Loved the “Squee” moments because the love story between Richard and Kahlan is the driving force in the books and the show…
