I can tell the three of you had a lot of fun with this one :) Kevin, I did love ch. 34 too, but my favorite chapters are still the ones about the Mud people. And it's not ch. 27 :) I feel that with the Mud people, we discover Richard's true character - the depth of his integrity and intelligence. He's just met the elders and figures out that the Bird Man is really the one in charge. Even the Bird Man and Kahlan admit in separate occasions that Zedd choses his Seekers well. I love it when the Bird Man tells Kahlan that he'd like to meet the First Wizard someday. With the Denna story line, we also find out the depth of Richard's compassion. And Kurt, I so agree with you about richness of the magical world that is unfortunately lost in the tv show. We really do need a Terry Goodkind Track at DragonCon next year.
