Here’s your chance to possibly win a gently used copy of the “Stone of Tears” audiobook on CD. This CD box set comes to us courtesy of listener Karl from Philly who was kind enough to pass it along to us.

To enter the contest please send us an email and let us know your favorite moment from “Wizard’s First Rule”. Also please be sure to include your name, your email address and your general location (e.g. Sam from Dallas, Mary from Paris, etc.) in order to qualify for this random drawing.

The contest begins today. Submissions must be received by July 24th, 2010 at 11:59 EST. One entry per person.

Contest Rules:

Submitting your email permits your name to be entered into a random drawing to possibly win a gently used copy of the “Stone of Tears” audiobook on CD.

Let us know your favorite moment from “Wizard’s First Rule” as well as your name, your email address and your general location (e.g. Sam from Dallas, Mary from Paris, etc.) Please note that we will not use or share your e-mail address with anyone for any reason. Any entry not containing these bits of information will not be considered in the drawing.

Live Seeker Cast Podcast At Dragon*Con 2010

We are very excited to announce that we will be doing a live recording of our podcast at Dragon*Con 2010.

Everyone is invited to come be a part of our audience and to take part in our discussion of Legend of the Seeker and the Sword of Truth book series. We will have some prizes to give away and lots of fun will be had.

The exact time isn’t confirmed yet but we believe this will take place at 11:30am on Monday Sept 6th in the Hilton as part of the podcasting track.

Legend of the Seeker Activities At Dragon*Con 2010

Dragon*Con is one of the largest fan run scifi/fantasy/pop culture contentions in the world. The convention takes place every year over Labor Day weekend in Atlanta, Georgia in the US. This years convention runs from September 3-6, 2010.

The Seeker Cast crew (Kevin, Jenn & Kurt) attend every year and we are very excited about the Legend of the Seeker activities that will be taking place during this year’s con. As the Dragon*Con schedule starts to come together we’ll be updating this blog post with all the details we come across. Feel free to also follow our Twitter account since we’ll also use that to share updates and details.

The Dragon*Con schedule is subject to change. The final schedule is normally posted at the end of August.

Saturday Sept 4th

Several people plan to dress up in Legend of the Seeker and Sword of Truth costumes to walk in the annual Dragon*Con parade which normally begins at 10am.

The American Scifi Media track is planning to do a Legend of the Seeker fan panel at 1pm. This will likely take place in the Marriott.

Sunday Sept 5th

There will be a Legend of the Seeker fan party/meet-up in the Consuite on Sunday afternoon from 2pm-4pm. The location is likely to be on the 2nd floor in the Hyatt. More details on that coming soon. You can check out some of the discussions about the event in this thread over at the LegendOfTheSeeker.org forums.

Monday Sept 6th

We will be doing a LIVE recording of our podcast as part of the podcasting track. Come by to hang out with your fellow Seeker fans and to hear us talk about Legend of the Seeker and the Sword of Truth book series. The time isn’t confirmed yet but we believe it will be at 11:30am in the Hilton.
